How it Works:
- Schedule & Travel: When you book a Mobile Spray Tan, we’ll confirm the date, time, and location of your appointment (available in Northern Virginia and select surrounding areas in the DMV). One of our expert mobile tanning technicians will arrive punctually with all the equipment needed. We bring a portable pop-up tanning tent, airbrush machine, solution, and any add-ons you’ve selected – essentially a mini studio that can be set up in minutes at your place. All we need is a bit of space and an electrical outlet.
- In-Home Setup: Our technician will set up the tanning tent in an area of your choosing (living room, garage, bathroom – any area about 6 feet by 6 feet works). The tent ensures that any overspray is contained, protecting your home. We also lay down towels if necessary. The setup is quick and clean – we respect your space and leave it exactly as we found it (no mess, no solution on floors or walls).
- Customized Tanning Session: Once set up, you’ll receive the same top-quality service you would in our studio. We start with the pH-balancing prep spray on your skin, then proceed to the custom airbrush tan application, adjusting shade and technique just for you. You can choose any of our tan types during a mobile session – Classic (overnight) or Rapid formula – just let us know your preference ahead of time. The technician will bring the appropriate solution. We take the same careful approach to ensure an even, streak-free application. After spraying, we’ll apply the finishing spray and drying powder so you feel comfortable.
- Post-Tan Wrap-Up: After your tan, our tech will give you aftercare instructions specific to the solution used (e.g., how long to wait before showering). They will then promptly pack up the tent and equipment. The whole process (setup, tan, takedown) typically takes about 30 minutes for one person. It’s efficient and hassle-free – and you get to relax at home immediately after your session.

Aftercare: You’ll follow the same aftercare as an in-studio tan. One benefit of mobile: you’re already home and can cozy up in loose clothes immediately with no need to drive anywhere with bronzer on. Just be mindful of light-colored furniture or sheets until you shower, as the cosmetic bronzer can transfer (we suggest covering your pillow or furniture if you plan to sit/lie down before rinsing). We’ll provide you with a disposable bed sheet if needed and a detailed aftercare card.
Add-Ons: Yes, you can absolutely include add-ons with a mobile tan! We can bring along contouring services (full body or face contour), scented drops, and Collagen/Vitamin D/CBD drops to add in your solution. The only limitation: Red Light Therapy is not available as a mobile service (that requires in-studio equipment), so RLT cannot be added to mobile appointments. All other enhancements are available on-the-go. Please mention any desired add-ons when booking so our technician packs the necessary supplies.
